Shari Rosen Ascher is The Director of Policy and Programs for Small Business and Chambers of Commerce for Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins. This position was created by former County Executive, and now Congressman George Latimer, in 2018  to ensure that the needs and concerns of main street in all 45 Westchester municipalities were addressed. She has created surveys, hosted multi-Chamber networking events, instituted new grant programs and worked with the Economic Development team to create job fairs and events for MWBEs She is also the liaison the Office for People with Disabilities and is extremely proud of the success of the Westchester County Diverse Abilities job fairs.  In 2021, Shari was elected to the Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees and is currently finishing her second term. Prior to joining County government, Shari spent 15 years as the Corporate Sponsorship Director at public radio station WFUV, at Fordham university, she was Co President and founder of ShareGoals, a consulting company focusing on work life balance, was a VP of sales at a national radio rep company and a media buyer at several NY ad agencies.  She is a Dobbs Ferry resident and the proud mother of 2 grown sons, Marty and Jake and has been married to her husband Neil for almost 35 years
