Edward Stoppelmann is Vice President of Sales for the Leros Transportation Group, bringing more than three decades of innovation and leadership to the for-hire ground transportation industry. Since Red Oak Transportation’s integration into Leros in 2022, Ed has helped unify two legacy brands to deliver a flexible, technology-driven, and service-focused client experience.
Throughout his tenure, Ed has guided Red Oak to earn numerous accolades, including the Westfair Family-Owned Business Award, the Business Council of Westchester’s Family Business Success Award, Best of Westchester Car Service, WeddingWire Couples Choice Award, and The Knot Best of Weddings. The company has also been recognized by organizations such as UJA, The John Starks Foundation, WJCS, P.O.I.N.T., and BJCC for its ongoing commitment to community support and philanthropy.
Ed’s academic background, holding a BA from Brandeis University and an MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, enhances his ability to approach client service, operations, and stakeholder engagement with empathy, insight, and clarity.
A longtime community leader, Ed is a former Chair of the American Heart Association (Westchester Division), Board member and past co-Chair of the UJA Westchester Business and Professional Division, and serves as a Commissioner on the Westchester County Taxi and Limousine Commission since 2001.
