Shalyn Courtenay is an Executive Director, Regional Sales Manager with Wells Fargo’s Commercial Bank, leading business development efforts across New York and Connecticut. She works alongside a team of experienced bankers to deliver tailored financial solutions for companies in diverse industries, as well as for commercial real estate investors and developers. Shalyn began her tenure at Wells Fargo in 2016 in Treasury Management, where she specialized in designing cash management strategies for middle-market and mid-corporate businesses. During this time, she partnered closely with the Legal Specialty Group, gaining deep expertise in serving law firms and their unique banking needs. She later transitioned into a Relationship Manager role, focusing on strategic growth initiatives, credit structuring, and risk management, helping businesses navigate complex financial challenges and achieve long-term objectives.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Shalyn spent 13 years in financial services, advising clients on both personal and corporate finance. This experience gave her a broad understanding of the financial landscape and a client-first approach that continues to guide her work today.

Shalyn earned her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and her master’s degree from Northwestern University. She lives in Goldens Bridge, NY with her husband and two children and is actively involved in her community, working with various non-profits and serving as 1st Vice President and Chair of Social Action at her synagogue.
