Bill Weinberg is founder and managing member of Bilwin Development Affiliates LLC, an Eastchester based construction development company.  In addition, Bill has been CEO of AMHAC, a multi-phase contracting company specializing in heating, air conditioning, plumbing, & electrical work since 1975.  

 

Having taken over the reins when his father Stefan retired, both Bilwin Development Affiliates LLC and AMHAC continue to be family-run businesses.

 

Bill has developed both residential and commercial properties, building with the finest materials, and employing the finest craftsmen. His extensive knowledge of zoning laws and real estate law have enhanced Bilwin Development Affiliates LLC ability to take on the most challenging projects.  

 

Some of Bill’s commercial projects include bringing the first Wal-Mart to the state of Connecticut after assembling and re-zoning 20 acres of residential property into a 125,000 square foot shopping center. A five-acre site on Central Avenue in Yonkers, N.Y., where 135,000 cubic yards of rock was removed to construct a 54,000+ square foot shopping cent (tenants include Bed, Bath and Beyond, Harmon’s, H&R Block, Webster Bank & other tenants). Other select commercial projects include re-developing a non-conforming site in Eastchester, N.Y. into an A car dealership, re-developing a retail site on Central Avenue in Scarsdale, N.Y., now leased to Z-Strict/Golfzon. The renovation and conversion of a bank operations center on Garth Road in Scarsdale, N.Y. into retail stores and offices (tenants include Elegance Spa, Café Alaia, Willis Dental, Oxford Cleaners and 80-20 Kickboxing Studio).

 

Bill developed the Rocky Hollow development of six luxury homes on 8 acres on the Scarsdale Larchmont border

 

Hospitality development includes The Tuckahoe Marriott Springhill Suites with 153 suites. The development company is currently adding an adjacent restaurant/catering venue to complement the hotel. This was an eight-year entitlement process on a brownfield site. The latest projects completed a residential building in New York City; converting a 1903 landmarked building to residential units with professional space in the lower level, and the re-development of a parking garage in Fleetwood, New York.  Mr. Weinberg’s future development sites include:  the addition of 20,000 sq. ft. to the south of the Bed Bath Center in Yonkers NY.  Bilwin also owns 3.5 acres at 1771 Front Street in Yorktown, New York. 

 

Bill possesses a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University and years of trade experience in construction, HVAC, electrical work, plumbing and building automation.  He resides in Westchester County with his wife where they raised their two sons.
