Daniel Singer is currently a Director at Synergy Commodity, a leading advisory firm committed to helping family-owned liquid fuel company navigate the challenging volatile energy markets. After beginning his professional career with the Pepsi Cola Company, he joined his family at Robison Oil in 1996 as Vice President of Operations. He ultimately served as CEO and Co-President along with his brother David. Under Dan’s leadership, Robison, along with its 200+ employees, served over 24,000 homes and businesses throughout New York City, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Fairfield Counties. Dan continues to support the industry and sits on the board of the Empire State Energy Association (ESEA), the National Oil Research Alliance (NORA), and the National Energy & Fuels Institute (NEFI). In 2024, Dan led his family and the company through a successful sales process to Star Group LP.

In addition to his duties at Robison, Daniel is Past Chair of the Westchester Business and Professional Leaders division of UJA Federation as well as a Past President of The Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor. Dan currently serves on the board of Feeding Westchester and has previously served as co-chair of the American Jewish Committee’s Energy Independence committee and has been a member of the board of trustees of the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester.
