Malka Shalit is the President of Greenridge Management Corp. a commercial real estate management and development company with properties throughout Westchester County.
Malka’s career in real estate started more than 50 years ago when her husband, a doctor hoping to find suitable medical office space near White Plains Hospital, inspired her to construct the Greenridge Medical Building. This launched Greenridge Management Corp. and Malka’s successful career in real estate development.
In the mid-1980s Malka went on to develop condominiums and outlet shopping malls in Manchester, Vermont and Lake George, New York.
Malka’s experience as an owner and manager has included securing local and state permits for projects, working with architects and engineers, arranging for construction loans and permanent financing, negotiating leases and creating and implementing marketing plans for tenants.
Malka has served as treasurer/board member of DOC (Developers of Outlet Centers – a national organization) and a board member of various local community organization.
Today Greenridge Management Corp. owns and manages properties throughout Westchester County including Ardsley, Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Rye and White Plains New York.
